I enjoyed the idea of being a part of a tight-knit community with like-minded scholars.
WHAT ARE YOU MOST LOOKING FORWARD TO EXPERIENCING AT CAROLINA OVER THE NEXT FOUR YEARS?
I am most looking forward to pursuing my research interests and joining a lab while at Carolina. I am also looking forward to becoming a part of the UNC Chapel Hill community.
WHAT RESEARCH TOPIC(S) ARE YOU INTERESTED IN EXPLORING AND WHY?
My research interests lay at the intersection of neuroscience and chemistry, especially in a medical context. I am especially drawn to chemistry of the brain and process of drug development.
WHAT IS ONE THING YOU HOPE TO ACCOMPLISH IN YOUR FUTURE STEM CAREER?
I aspire to combine my passion for research and practice in the medical field. Whatever I end up doing, I hope I can have a positive impact on the healthcare system.
