CSS scholars bring with them a wealth of diverse backgrounds and accomplishments. They come from all across North Carolina, as well as 14 U.S. states/territories and Ghana. They have impressive academic achievements, and are passionate about solving problems through research and innovation in science and technology. They are student athletes, leaders in campus clubs and organizations, and volunteers in the community. They lead class discussions, encourage other students, and are future leaders in a wide variety of STEM fields and career paths.
