What attracted you to the CSS program and Carolina?

I was attracted to the CSS program and Carolina because of the amazing research opportunities I can explore. In addition, the CSS program and UNC highly promote a strong sense of community and belonging which is extremely important to me.

What are you most looking forward to experiencing at Carolina over the next four years?

I am most looking forward to gaining knowledge from those all around me in multiple different disciplines during my next four years at Carolina. In addition to academics, I am also looking forward to learning about various ideas that will help me grow as an individual.

What research topic(s) are you interested in exploring and why?

For as long as I can remember, I have always been fascinated with the night sky. I am interested in astrophysics research because I desire to understand our place in the universe. Researching the formation of celestial bodies is interesting to me because I can learn about how our universe was formed as well as apply this information to the future.

What is one thing you hope to accomplish in your future STEM career?

One thing I hope to accomplish in my future STEM career is conducting astrophysics research for NASA to make contributions that positively impact our world.
