I was drawn to the CSS program because I was really excited about getting involved in a career in research, and the mentorship and community offered by CSS sounded like a perfect fit for me.

My favorite CSS experience has to be the trips we went on during the Summer EXCELerator.

CSS has given me a community of friends and peers to encourage me to be the best I can be. Thanks to the program, I feel more strongly motivated to succeed as a scientist.
WHAT IS YOUR PRIMARY RESEARCH INTEREST?
I am currently working in Dr. Rebecca Fry’s lab in the Gillings School of Public Health working with epigenetics in diverse outbred mice.
