CSS Selects 8th Cohort of Scholars

May 14, 2020

The Chancellor’s Science Scholars Program is proud to announce its eighth cohort of STEM scholars. Twenty-five talented students will join our program as part of UNC’s Class of 2024. They plan to pursue undergraduate degrees in 10 different STEM majors.

CSS scholars are chosen through a rigorous review process that culminates in an on-campus interview weekend in late February. At Selection Weekend, finalists participated in interviews, lab tours, information sessions, and other activities designed to introduce them to everything that CSS and UNC have to offer.
