What attracted you to the CSS program and Carolina?
The immense amount of research and networking opportunities that are given to CSS Scholars to help introduce them to professionals in the field they are passionate about and work with them to make a change for the world attracted me to the program.
What are you most looking forward to experiencing at Carolina over the next four years?
I am most looking forward to joining a research lab that piques my interest in biology and psychology and collaborate with others, while also joining different clubs and going to school spirit-focused activities on campus to make the most out of my four years!
What research topic(s) are you interested in exploring and why?
I’m highly interested in researching psychiatry, analytical chemistry, and/or molecular biology.
What is one thing you hope to accomplish in your future STEM career?
I hope to graduate and go on to earn an MD/PhD so that I can practice and research in the fields that I am passionate about and hopefully find a breakthrough to cure a worldwide problem.
