I was attracted to CSS and Carolina because of the community and support staff it offered.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE CSS EXPERIENCE SO FAR?
My favorite CSS experience so far was our first CSS 8 activity of the 2021-2022 year! It was so great to see our entire cohort together in person finally.

My experience in CSS has shaped me to explore various career paths and to use my time at Carolina to experience as much as I can.
WHAT research topic are you interested in exploring and why?
I’m interested in exploring infectious diseases and areas of public health. I’m currently working in the environmental microbiology lab under the mentorship of Dr. Fisher on WHO-funded projects regarding decontamination of PPE.
