WHAT attracted you to the CSS program and to Carolina?
As a student, I have always been interested in research in STEM and CSS holds that as a priority. Not only does the program share my values, the opportunities, connections, and support system that CSS provides are invaluable.
WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVORITE CSS EXPERIENCE SO FAR?
My favorite experience has definitely been the Summer EXCELerator. Getting to know all of my fellow cohort members and working together with them in classes and CSS activities was great!
HOW HAS your experience with CSS SHAPED YOUR GOALS and career path?
Before becoming a part of CSS, I was not sure what I wanted to do in college or even in my career. The guidance that CSS has provided me through student mentors and one-on-one meetings with program staff has helped me find a direction for my career.
WHAT research topic are you interested in exploring and why?
As of now, I’m really interested in exploring machine learning and artificial intelligence. I love to see how these adaptive solutions can be used on the complex problems of today.
