WHY did you decide to join the CSS Program and come to Carolina?

I decided to join the CSS program because of the community and endless support. Carolina, as a whole, is supportive and has dedicated faculty and staff who are passionate and want to see you succeed, which I truly appreciate.


WHAT are you most looking forward to doing during your undergraduate years?

I am looking forward to exploring during my undergraduate years. I also look forward to being able to explore and take part in answering the questions that are fueled by my curiosity.


what is a research topic you are interested in exploring?

I am interested in exploring how socioeconomic factors are linked with water quality/pollution, as well using technology such as AI to detect different levels of water quality.


WHAT are your future goals?

My future goals revolve around using AI technology to ensure proper water quality. I want to produce research that has versatile applications and is accessible.
