Brittney M. Cofield-Poole received her B.S. in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago. She received her Ph.D. in Applied & Social Psychology in 2016 from North Carolina State University. Her academic research explored community-based participatory methods to increase youth civic engagement and digital inclusion. Following her graduate studies, Dr. Cofield-Poole worked in the private sector for technology and social impact startups and earned a graduate certificate in Documentary Storytelling from The George Washington University. In her free time, she enjoys teaching restorative yoga + mindfulness classes. She is very passionate about student empowerment and culturally responsive wellness advocacy.
