WHAT DREW YOU TO THE CSS PROGRAM?
The cohort and the personalized advising by the CSS staff made me excited about a personalized Carolina experience.
WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE CSS EXPERIENCE OR MEMORY?
Weirdly enough, my favorite memories were made in during Summer Bridge before we even started in the Fall. I had really hard time when my family dropped me off in Chapel Hill, and knowing I had my cohort to lean on during this time was very comforting.
HOW HAS CSS SHAPED YOUR CAREER GOALS?
The CSS program exposed me to a lot of different paths within the STEM field, which helped me to understand what I did and did not enjoy doing.
WHAT IS YOUR PRIMARY RESEARCH INTEREST?
I had two research experiences at UNC: in the Department of Neurology with Dr. William D. Snider (Aug 2015-Dec 2016) and the Department of Environmental Sciences & Engineering with Dr. Rebecca Fry (Undergraduate to Graduate: Aug 2016-May 2018).
